Some great ideas and insights. Sue is so compassionate and knowledgeable. I appreciate her advocacy and this shines through in her episodes. I listen all the time when travelling for work and recommend tips to my colleagues frequently.
Teachers, think again

I can really see why teacher would like this. Lots and lots of strategies based in behaviourism from someone who is prolific in the area. Unfortunately I've not heard too much content that is ND affirming, that really explains the importance of relational safety at school, and that aligns with a current evidence base. Teachers, if you want strategies that will get you through the year keep listening; but if you want to invest in the long term outcomes for your neurodivergent students...go elsewhere.
Great podcast for teachers and parents

I have listened to Sue Larkey’s podcasts since I was in uni. I really believe she knows her stuff, and these podcast prove it. I regularly listen to this podcast because it refreshes my memory about strategies and tools that I may have forgotten about since uni and teaches me things I would’ve never learned otherwise. I teach in special education and what she says fits the profiles of students I have taught time and time again. If you’re struggling with any kids on the spectrum, or even in mainstream. Give this poddy a go as it will help you reap the rewards!
