Creating Loom and Kiln Social Capital
-
- Wirtschaft
In this episode we head over to South Jordan to talk with Hannah, at Loom and Kiln.
In just over a couple of years, Hannah has created a company with a Social Media following of nearly140,000! That is some super strong social capital she's about to share with us. Hannah is an awesome example of a person searching to find their story, creating their niche and walking their own path.
Per her website:
"Hello beautiful people! I'm Hannah Loumeau Leonard, the founder of Loom + Kiln. With a background in art and interior design, and a passion for traveling, it quickly became my dream to open up a shop that explored all the different styles and designs that the world had to offer.
Staying true to it’s name, Loom + Kiln focuses mainly on textiles and ceramics. On one page you might find a 60 year old rug from a small village in Morocco, and on another a handmade vessel made a week ago from your local ceramicist. Either way, you'll be able to see the love and care that goes into an item that's touched by a human hand. It's through these pieces that homes become a place of beauty and wonder, and that tell a story of the people inside."
