Breaking The Silence with Rena's Heartwork Rena

This is my story of being molested at a young age. Even though I normally try to end on a healing note, it was not possible on this episode. #SaveOurChildren

This episode will cover 2 poems. The first titled "Sudden Silence" was written with the help of my youngest part and speaks of the trauma of losing my hearing without anyone being aware of the loss. The second poem titled "I See" covers what it has been like as I learn what new sounds each new hearing aid brings me.

This episode highlights two poems I wrote. First "Ouch" which is about how much words can Hurt. Then "One Step" which tells of how to overcome the damage of words.

I will read a story about being returned to a mom I didn't remember, and the confusion of wondering what happened to the mom I did remember. It will also cover a few years later and how things had changed. I will then delve into what led up to that day. The adaptability of children and a bit about my hearing loss at that time.
