She knew early in life that she was a helper, so she has been in the Healthcare industry for 20 years. The bulk of her career was with Cook Children’s as a liaison to physicians and the community representing their centers of excellence. Leah has been with Care & Prepare for 3 years. As their Executive Director. Care & Prepare engages individuals, both healthy and facing illness, in a proactive dialogue around Advance Care Planning to ensure that their wishes for end-of-life are clear and honored. She mainly helps behind the scenes garnering support for their mission which is for “All people to live well All their days”. Care & Prepare does this by stimulating End of Life care conversations through educational events like this one.

One of her Greatest achievement was Spearheading an 18-month physician education program sharing Cook Children's cancer research. Their team radically changed referral patterns, which impacted survival rates of high-risk pediatric patients.

During this amazing chat I get the opportunity to speak with my friend Lorena Bowles. Here's what she says about herself,  Lorena Bowles, Chief Marketing Officer for Trinity Home and Health Care a brand new agency founded 2021. I am also the Founder and Innovator of The Linked Network founded in 2008 and now has 10 chapters throughout DFW as well as in No. and So. Austin.

I have been in the medical field since I was a Junior in High school. My husband and I owned a DME company for 12 years. My current role allows me to personally assist patients and their families as the needs arise for skilled home health wherever they call home. Our goal is to make all our patients feel like family so they can get back to living life with their families.
