#147: Soul Care
What are you doing to take care of your soul? There are many ways to nurture your soul and get closer to God. We are all different in what ignites and stirs our soul. There are many choices each day that bring me closer to God and I truly feel a stirring in my soul. It is apparent in how I react, when I skip these choices when life gets hectic. Listen in and think about what you are doing each day to stir your affection for God and how you are caring for your soul. The health of our soul is so important, and sometimes neglected if we don’t know how to care for it.

#145: Creating a Healthy Atmosphere in Our Home
A healthy atmosphere in a home starts with us, and we can shift it starting today. With different seasons, comes many changes inside our home. When we pause and slow down, we can keep a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere inside our home, so that everyone connects better and wants to be home. We have to first actually spend time at home, slow down, and let go of the pressures to always be doing something.
Challenge: What are some changes you can make in your home this week? -
#144: Parenting, Letting Go and Holding On
Parenting is different in all stages, but as our kids become teens, they are closer to being an adult. I am not an expert, but doing our best to let go, while also being there for them and guiding them makes all the difference in our relationship with them. We have to pay attention as to where we should be releasing our grip and just guiding, trusting, and supporting. Let us be the ones that always believe in our kids, let them spread their wings, and keep speaking life into them.
Takeaway: There are times in life where we have to learn to let go, while still holding on.
Challenge: See what you are trying to control right now, and how you can start letting go and trusting God. -
#143: Your Morning Routine Depends on Your Season
How we start our day matters. Every season is different. Give yourself grace and take time to find what is best for you right now. Cater your time and choices to you and where you are now. Remember there are many things that are good for us that we can do anytime and anywhere, and even with our baby or toddler in tow.
Takeaway: Give your grace and most importantly know that your morning is yours. Don’t compare it to where anyone else is right now.
Challenge: See how you add in what is important to you, even if it isn’t first thing in the morning. -
#142: Getting Back Up
Did you get distracted or knocked off of what you were chasing this year? I want you to pay attention and if you have been derailed from your goal or what you were trying to do this year, get back up and start again. Do not let the enemy derail you from choosing a better life. The Lord will fight for us. We just have to keep showing up.
Takeaway: Getting back up is an absolute game changer for all that we want in life.
Challenge: Get back up this week and choose what you wanted this year. Just start again.
