    Personally, restrictive dieting caused me so much misery and resulted in years of binge eating followed by short bouts of severe restriction. At the beginning of 2018, I decided to take a new approach to nutrition and my mindset around food. I started to let go of dieting and the diet mindset. It’s challenging to let go of something that has been part of your life for so long. I know that many of you may want to start the process of changing your relationship with food and moving away from the diet mindset too, so hopefully this episode with Nutritional Therapist, Jen O Callaghan, will offer you some tips and advice for how to do just that.     23 year old Mike Flynn, a personal trainer from Cork, has always been an anxious person. However, his life seemed to spiral out of control a little over two years ago when he developed a condition called Pure OCD which is marked by obsessive, unwanted thoughts that made him question himself constantly and ultimately led to him attempting to take his own life. Mike is now getting the help & support he needs & is sharing his story in an effort to create more awareness about the condition and to help others to realise that they are not alone in their struggles.     Picking up a copy of a book called “The Introvert Entrepreneur” by Beth Buelow while browsing the Business section in a book store triggered a chain of events for Aoife Lenox which ultimately led to her founding her business called Inside Strategies. Aoife began to understand that she could harness the power of her personality style as an introvert to succeed in the world of business rather than strive to be someone who she was not in order to be a success. Now she helps other introverts in business through training, coaching and consultancy. In this episode, Aoife shares some of the key learnings that she has discovered from years of research into introversion and offers tips for introverts who are trying to navigate their way in the world of business.     In this episode I chat to Aisling Vaughan (@coach_ashyv on Instagram) of Grit Fit Health. Aisling is a Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach based in Sydney. When Aisling was based in Ireland her own training was mainly centred around aesthetics as she was heavily involved in the body building and bikini modelling industry. Her move to Sydney helped Aisling to see how liberating, beneficial & enjoyable it could be to train for health, fitness & strength rather than purely for aesthetics. She worked on improving her mindset as well as getting stronger and fitter than ever and set up her own business, Grit Fit Health, in 2019 to help others to look and feel their best.
