Simply put, the best football podcast around

The perfect combination of insight, humour and claptrap. Don’t ever change.
My favourite podcast

I absolutely love this podcast and during the Euros I would be so excited for my commute to work the morning after the evenings match to listen to your comments and thoughts, I know other listeners have said it’s like joining up with old friends and I can relate to that, there’s no egos just football chat and banter and I love it !!
Occasionally good

Max Rushden, who seems to have made a great career by being a nice bloke and randomly mentioning 1990’s footballers apropos of nothing, presents this football podcast. Regular “co-host” Barry (also nice bloke) glories in his lack of football knowledge whilst chiming in with curmudgeonly comments as both laugh hysterically at each other’s jokes. The pod is occasionally peppered with the brilliance and smart wit of Liew and Ronay but on the whole it’s a bit of a ‘dads in the playground’ take on football. The most depressing episode was the one after Eriksen collapsed on the pitch where guests all spoke solely about how THEY felt and offered little comment as to the actual person who died! Then in the next ep they just read out praise the received for the previous ep. Grotesque. Recently it’s gone full Talksport with Barry just saying things to elicit comment from certain fan groups. Pathetic
Gone downhill fast

This podcast used to be a regular of mine. No longer. Barry has turned into that bore in the pub corner who hates life. His disdain for football and football fans is pervasive and it’s time he was put out to pasture.
