Some of the stories are relatively unknown & interesting for that. No objection to the ads but try to put them somewhere where it doesn’t interrupt the flow of the story.

I miss regular updates on this series. Important show for the millennials to listen to. Loved the two parter on Jim McClean.

Sort the ads, lads - or a least sort the timing. Good pod otherwise. Nice length and interesting football nooks.

Most importantly - there’s no need to repeat the intro 3 or 4 times, we are not idiots!! Also Don’t put the ads in stupid places. Content itself is really interesting, just clear up the presentation.

I find some of the stories genuinely interesting but repeating the title of the podcast every few minutes is irritating. There are so many far longer podcasts which don’t have the breaks that this does in 10-15 minutes. Really off putting.

Some really interesting stories, but flow of podcast is ruined by the constant interruptions. We know what we are listening to, you don’t need to give us an ad *for the podcast we are already listening to* every 3/4 mins. Please change this or I for one will stop listening and I think you’ll lose other listeners too based on the other comments!

How ironic that ‘forgotten stories of football’ feel the need to remind you what you’re listening to every 4 minutes 😴 We’re already listening to it, you don’t need to advertise it. The accents are just simply unnecessary. Other than that it’s a good listen for any football fans

Really enjoy the stories and I don’t agree with the criticism of most of the production/VO but the sheer amount of interruptions in the form of ads and stings, etc absolutely kills to flow. I thought there was a limit to the proportion of a show that can be ads? Some of these it seems close to 20%. Shame because otherwise it’s really good.

A 11 minute podcast that could of been whittled down to 5 minutes if no adverts. Subject matter was interesting but I won’t be returning to this podcast. The accents used to re-enact the story were horrendous
