I like these roughly monthly podcasts as they have good sound quality and are interesting but I would really like to see some speeches from people who are not american politicians for example churchill, ghandi, Stephen Hawking etc, all of whos speeches are available at the website this podcast comes from... why not release them in these podcasts then?
All great speeches are American!

This is a great idea for a podcast but a shame that the creators of it are so narrow in their outlook that they couldn't think to include a single speech by anyone that wasn't American.
Great speeches of America, not history

Good speeches but completely American and no Churchill, Hitler, Ghandi etc etc but why would you expect American's to pretend anyone else has history?
Amazing

Some good speeches but this selection is heavily US centric. There is nothing outside America right? (Thank god there is).

Great Speeeches in History

Churchill's first address as Prime MInister puts modern speakers to shame; more of him please. And at this perilous moment in the world's history Franklin Roosevelt's speech in which he said we had nothing to fear but fear itself. Keep up the good work.
poor

..or not so great speeches from (mostly) mediocre US politicians - very poor.
Quite a lot missing?

hmmm almost of all the speeches are by Americans. Surely there are many more not on there currently by people from Britain, Australia, Canada etc and other English speaking countries?
