When you’ve got a lot going on it feels like you’re juggling, and as time goes on keeping all the balls in the air gets more and more difficult. The fear of dropping a ball adds to the stress because everything feels important and to let something fall would be a disaster, right? But, would it? Comfort
Well episode 37 I tend to jump back and forth and today made me laugh as I too would move home and the next day I’d have a dinner party as if I’d been living there for years! 11 months ago I moved in with my boyfriend who has major anxiety about packing or unpacking. What this has forced me to do is become less stressed and let go and now 3 days later if the weekend bag in still on the soda so what!! All I do is have my “comfort” bag a little back pack with my favourite magazine, journal, chocolate and coffee 3 in 1 travel size so all I need is a seat and hot water should I get delayed anywhere. Thank you for reminding me that this is part of self care and feeling safe!

I found Gabrielle’s podcast a few years ago during a time when I was really struggling with overthinking and ruminating. Her calming voice and practical advice were the start of a journey which led to me setting up my own blog and writing poetry. Writing has become my outlet when I never would never have considered myself a creative person before. I’m much better able to manage my overthinking tendencies, though I still return to Gabrielle for a refresher every now and then. I found her first interview format episode with Zabby on procrastination really helpful. Thank you Gabrielle.
