I’ve been listening to this podcast from 2018 and I think I’ve listened to all of the pods at least twice. Stephen is so honest for an elite athlete to express himself and his weaknesses the way he does is commendable. Ive gotten a lot of inspiration from these podcasts, when i started listening I was just back from a 2 year injury induced layoff. The way Stephen deals with running and life is inspiring to us normal people who can only dream of running at the pace he does. If your looking for an uplifting journey give this podcast a go!! Personally I think it’s the most in-depth account of a runners journey there is. Scully your an Animal 🦁🦁

Catching up on podcasts and how consoling for a an old middle aged masters runner like me to hear an elite athlete feeling like he wants to give up at times,and feeling negative towards training. I’ll remember that next time I want to run away which is every session these days! He’s also very funny,swears a lot and has a hundred new ideas per broadcast. Love it. No one can ever say you’re dull 🤣
