Statement begins….
Since I discovered the wonderful world of podcasts about 3-4 years ago, I have been enthralled by a number of them. The Black Tapes, The Lovecraft Investigations and The White Vault being my personal favourites. However, The Magnus Archives is my new number one. It’s scary, intelligent, original, witty, brilliantly acted and has a validity and gravitas that most other horror vehicles lack. I’m totally addicted. The icing on the cake for me though is that my home city keeps getting a mention. Maybe the steel city is built on ancient pagan sacrificial ground, a portal to another dimension or even a one of the gates of hell. It’s possible. Anyhow, if you like supernatural drama, look no further. This is the one you’re looking for! Bravo Jonathan Sims.
Diving into horror
This is the first time I have been able to actually interact with horror media (other than books) due to having sensory issues that mean movies and TV shows are not accessible for me. This show has allowed me to interact with horror more and has proven to me how much I enjoy it!
I would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in horror. It’s truly excellent and you can tell how much fun the actors are having.
Great ambience
The music adds so much to the podcast and atmos would recommend so so excited to listen to the protocol great show worth listening to even if you don’t like typical horror
