Into The Blizzard by Micheal J. Tougias Who's Joe ?

The book "Into The Blizzard" by Micheal J. Tougias is about the great blizzard of 1978 and how Frank Quirk and his crew set sail to save people, but instead found their demise.  

My story is about a kid named Brian who runs cross country. Brian lies to his friends and tells them that he can run a lot faster than he actually can, so throughout the story Brian works hard to try and make his lie become real. Here is a quick excerpt from my story, “Brian stood on the line quivering. The breeze was cold. He could feel his heart pounding all throughout his body. His body was shaking. ‘Runners on your mark!’ Brian took a deep breath. BOOM.” What will happen next?
