Releasing Stored Emotions, Heartbreak and Anxiety with Dr Sarah Jane

Releasing Stored Emotions, Heartbreak and Anxiety with Dr Sarah Jane

Have you ever had a friend who’s talking about a break up as if it just happened? Like their body is stuck in that time?

This week I’m sitting down with award winning chiropractor, counsellor and founder of Spinal Energetics, Dr Sarah Jane.

This episode is a must listen! And I’m absolutely thrilled to share this one with with you.

Spinal Energetics is a modality that absolutely went viral during the pandemic and combines Eastern and Western philosophies to shift stored and repressed emotions and energy out of the body.

Yes, it all sounds a bit woo woo to the Western world but this way of working with the body’s innate wisdom and energy is used widely across Eastern cultures and has had profound effects on people all over the world.

And in this ep, we break down exactly what’s going on here and how we can move through those day to day problems we might face like anxiety, depression, burnout and stress.

    Plus in our chat, Dr Sarah and I get stuck into;

    * What is the body’s innate wisdom and how can we use it to heal ourselves?

    * How emotions and energy get stored in the body

    * The tell tale signs of anxiety

    * The common body cues if you’re stuck in heartbreak

    * We’ve all heard of the mind and body but what is the emotional and spiritual body?

    Plus so much more!

Kellie Finlayson on Living with Terminal Cancer at 28

Kellie Finlayson on Living with Terminal Cancer at 28

This week I’m joined by the lovely Kellie Finlayson, podcaster and influencer, who was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer at age 25, just 3 months after she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Sophia (with partner AFL star Jeremy Finlayson).

Kellie shares the hardest moment of her journey with us. After going through all of her treatment thinking she was going to be told by her doctor that she would be in remission, only to be told no, that was not the case. Kellie describes this as the first time she thought ‘why me?’.

We also delve into the moment Kellie was diagnosed, how she is able to keep a positive mindset and attitude, alternative therapies that have had a positive impact on her life and her approach to nutrition, movement and life.

While Kellie still lives with her diagnosis, two and half years on, she is a beautiful inspiration of how to maintain a positive outlook on life and role model for us all and continues to spread awareness by sharing her story.

This one of the most emotional podcast chats I’ve had and equally inspiring as well.

Make sure you take a listen to wherever you get your pods and share with your friends and loved ones!
