    As a life coach, I specialize in guiding individuals through a transformative journey of exploring, healing, and ultimately, transforming. Using The Adult Chair® Model, we uncover the depths of one's past experiences to better understand the present. A crucial aspect of this process is understanding the significance of the ego, particularly during the formative years of adolescence.


    During this critical period of development, spanning from ages seven to 24, individuals grapple with establishing their identity and sense of belonging. They often resort to constructing masks or personas to fit in and navigate their environments. These characters—whether the avoidant, people pleaser, fixer, perfectionist, or controller—are deeply ingrained and shaped by the adolescent psyche.


    In adulthood, these personas can resurface, hindering our ability to slow down and take necessary breaks. They manifest through ingrained patterns of behavior, such as constant busyness or an inability to prioritize self-care. Recognizing these adolescent characters is vital to overcoming their influence and embracing our adult selves.
