Anicka Newell The Everyday Warrior with Mike Sarraille

This week's guest on the Everyday Warrior Podcast is Olympian Anicka Newell. Anicka is an everyday warrior in her own right, a two-time Olympian for Canada, competing in the pole vault. She began her athletic career as a gymnast before discovering pole vaulting, and she now holds the Canadian women's pole vault record; her story is one that we can all take inspiration from.

Newell had decided to qualify for Team Canada, even though she had grown up in the United States, because Canada was always a home away from home, especially with her grandmother in Saskatoon. This episode was recorded in front of a live audience at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot in Austin, Texas.
