Awaken and Align is a podcast hosted by Laura Chung that features healers, artists, mystics, astrologers, and activists who are here for collective liberation. Our intention is to share stories that center people of the global majority and spiritual wisdom to incite change.
Laura Chung is a Reiki master, astrologer, and author of How To Manifest published by Union Square & Co. She has her Masters of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She is an activist and trauma-informed healer who uses her various media platforms to share spiritual wisdom and decolonial education toward collective healing and liberation. She co-hosts an astrology show, The Millennial Mystics. As a multi-disciplinary healer, Laura helps people to transcend their past and transform their current situations; breaking generational cycles and harmful patterns. Her intention is to help people manifest the life of their dreams.

Episode 215: April Astrology Forecast 2024
In this episode, we do a little recap of what transpired during February and March that stood out in the cultural zeitgeist that lined up with the astrological transits. Then we go over what to expect in April. April is a big month of major activations! There is a total solar eclipse on April 8th that will be visible (with protective eyewear) in parts of the USA. Also, there will be a conjunction between Jupiter and Uranus in the sign of Taurus on April 20th. Happy solar return to all of you April Aries and Tauruses out there!

Episode 214: Spirituality and Activism With Naley
Naley is the founder of NaleybyNature, an independent project to document stories from different corners of the world. She is a filmmaker, producer, and writer and is currently working on bringing greater awareness of the Palestinian genocide to Western audiences. Born and raised in New York, Naley studied media and journalism at Iona College. With the rise in social media, Naley was drawn to all the perspectives traditional media fails to report on. During the pandemic, Naley and her co-founder, Sadia, quit their jobs and started traveling the world to create their documentary. Since then, they have captured compelling stories of Palestinians, Israelis, Tibetans, Kashmiris, and Indians.

Episode 213: 2024 Year Of The Wood Dragon With Tiff Lin
Tiff Lin (they/them) is a queer 1.5 generation Taiwanese-American, kinesthetic artist, Asian Diaspora community organizer, and BaZi Chinese Astrology practitioner, residing in Ohlone territory (Oakland). They are a Dragon meets Goat Mycelium connector who loves to build cultures of authentic expression and belonging, create space for catharsis and art as a way for ancestral healing, and help connect people’s gifts with their deeper calling. Through 1:1 BaZi consultations, they help folx connect the dots to their potential and expand on their gifts. Tiff gives thanks to their practice to their teacher Meng Yu of Tiger Eye Astrology and Mycelium community for giving them clearer eyes to see.

Episode 212: February Astrology Forecast 2024
In this episode, I share the major Aquarius and Pisces stelliums and conjunctions. We have a new moon in Aquarius that also signifies the Lunar New Year. Happy Year of the Dragon! and the full moon in Virgo. I also go through the 12 rising signs and share what the Pluto in Aquarius transit will mean for your life since I forgot to do that in episode 211: Pluto in Aquarius. This month's forecast is shorter not because it's the shortest month, even though this February, there are 29 days but because I'm super busy thanks to my Aquarius placements. Episode 211: Pluto in Aquarius - The Age of Revolution
In this episode, I talk about the transition from Pluto in the sign of Capricorn into the sign of Aquarius. Astrology is the study of cycles and patterns, so the best way for us to predict what might happen when Pluto is in the sign of Aquarius is to look back at what happened the last time in our history when Pluto was in Aquarius. This time was known as the Age of Revolution because concurrent revolutions were happening all over the world. Some of the same themes are appearing today as Pluto moved into Aquarius on January 20th of this year.
