Kari Boyer ,

Episode positivity and inspiration!

Episode December 29,2019

I wish we could get this kind of structure in inner city Chicago! How beautiful your work is in Tennessee! Our children that need nurturing and compassion are unfortunately still jailed. Some are put back in homes with parents that sexually and physically abuse them. It’s a work in progress, these kids have such a sense of resilience. I hope such inspiring programs such as yours spread through the US! Truly beautiful skills and teamwork! Thank you for sharing! Dr. Greg- please keep us posted on your research. I am a true believer on generational trauma and your idea of trauma/stress in the wound possibly leading to miscarriages. Our federal entitlement of 12 weeks leave for prenatal/postnatal care can be incredibly tight for many mothers and they struggle to just continue working up until delivery date (even if that’s 12 hours on their feet). The work stress mixed with some our current diet is no surprise that there are many prenatal complications/trauma in our country. Please keep us posted on this interesting research!
