Christian struggling with depression and anxiety
I have to say, this podcast gets me in nearly every way. The sarcasm is SPOT ON my kind of taste. The conversation pulls me in every time. The topics are wonderful.
You mentioned at one point about your disbelief of God, and about offending AA members and Christians. Nooooo. I’ll have none of that. You see it, I see it. Some “Christians” are some of the most offensive people unfortunately. I’m glad you spoke up, you guys are important and your truths are soooo important! I also was so glad to hear you speak out about the “Christian” Trumpsters. They’re a giant stain on what actual Christianity is... LOVE. Period. You guys show us love, and regardless of your beliefs it is FANTASTIC. This is now my favorite podcast. Thank you for speaking out, and never be afraid to stand on your truth. It is vastly important for people to hear, learn, understand.
I’m currently working on a book entitle Transformation of the Broken Soul, based around men in the church struggling with mental illness. I believe the church has overall failed in big ways the people that struggle. We don’t just get to pray everything away. The book will undoubted piss off a lot of conservative Christians... and that’s part of the goal. Evoke emotion. You guys are giving me ideas, and I LOVE it, I love you guys! Keep it up.
I’d love to connect with you guys on this topic, especially being nonbelievers, from the outside looking in, I believe you guys probably have a really interesting and good viewpoint on the topic. Feel free to reach out in Instagram. rise_strong_vanquish_darkness
