NICU to CVICU

I’m in Austin, TX and someone recommended this podcast to me as I make my switch from NICU for 4 years to a pedi CVICU and it’s been amazing! I listen to the episodes (many of them multiple times) on the treadmill and take notes on my phone - it’s helped immensely

Future peds cardiology DNP

Thank you for this resource! I’ve listened to all of these episodes, sometimes 2-3 times, each opportunity allowing me to hear something more. I’m in my first year of a DNP program and know I want to specialize in acute care specifically pediatric cardiology. These episodes help me learn from the post op perspective which often only comes with clinical hours. I also really appreciate Dr. Ortman’s explanations of cardiac lesions. I learn so much following along and thinking about why different lesions show specific pre and post op presentations along with how management changes or stays similar.
