Mailbag Question

If the playoff were to move to eight teams, what do you envision the best format would be? Five auto bids for the five Power 5 champs? A potential auto bid if a Group of 5 team meets certain qualifications? Could this scenario further push Notre Dame to have to join a conference if there were limited at large bids?

Mail bag question!

Before my question I like to leave a comment on the show. It’s definitely one of if the best college football podcast!! Question time- with the NCAA being the business that it is. What will it take for the play off committee to start matching up post season games that are simple the best ones. What I mean is once they determine who the 4 teams are that will play for the championship. Throw the ranking out the window. Give fans the best games. ( especially when most the first rounders don’t even play. ) I wouldn’t mind if my team drop or jump in ranks if it meant it’s a dream game match up. Since there a poll at the end of the post season. Who cares where teams rank if they aren’t the final 4. Let’s just have dream match up between programs. It could even be done with in the top 4. If your not the number 1. Seeds 2-4 shouldn’t matter. The best team will win either way yeah? What will take for the NCAA to make this kind of business move. Looking forward to y’all a input.

Thanks Holder30

Ps. Go Dawgs!!

Might Be the Only Female Listener? Also - QUESTION

Love the podcast and happy to have found an outlet to feed my obsession with college football when my husband won’t oblige (golf fan). Question for the mailbag: Y’all talk about coaches being CEOs or X’s and O’s... who are your top three coaches on each side? Thanks and keep it up!
