Judge Rosemarie Aquilina and “Tell Me What You Want Me To Know”

Judge Rosemarie Aquilina and “Tell Me What You Want Me To Know”

Judge Rosemarie Aquilina shares how her career was molded by her upbringing and the importance of really listening. We also talk about the magical question she asked during her infamous trial that I have continued to ask to this day.
    WE’LL DISCUSS:
How her desire to be heard as a child played a role in becoming a lawyer, and how a child abuse case moved her to become a judge Why she decided to stop writing during law school How her approach to the infamous sexual abuse trial of sports doctor Larry Nassar allowed for the Army of Survivors to come forward
    ABOUT JUDGE AQUILINA:
Judge Rosemarie Aquilina was elected to the 30th Circuit Court for Ingham County in November of 2008. She became part of Michigan’s history by becoming the first female JAG Officer in the Michigan Army National Guard when she enlisted. Ultimately, she became one of the most requested JAG Officers because of her dedication to service and the soldiers she served with. Judge Aquilina opened Aquilina Law Firm, PLC, which grew to become very successful and which resulted in her becoming the host of Ask the Family Lawyer, which became syndicated.
In addition to all the other amazing things Rosemarie does, she is also a published author with three books under belt- All Rise, Feel No Evil, and Triple Cross Killer. Her books are thrillers from start to finish, keeping everyone guessing and on the edge of their seat.

224: Alexis Brink and The Art of Jin Shin

224: Alexis Brink and The Art of Jin Shin

This week’s podcast is a replay from a previously aired episode where I interviewed Alexis Brink, president of Jin Shin Institute in New York City and author of “The Art of Jin Shin.” Alexis has been practicing this art since 1991 and it was an absolute pleasure discussing it further with her.
In this interview, Alexis talks about the fascinating history of Jin Shin, and how her life forever changed when she first discovered it as a dancer in NYC. She explains how our attitude can affect our body’s harmony, and why problems are called ‘projects’ in Jin Shin practice. We also discuss using the hands as “jumper cables” to restore energy to the body, Finger Holds, FAST acronym and The Big Breathe Life.

    Heidi Hazen and Subconscious Blocks

    Heidi Hazen and Subconscious Blocks

I have the pleasure of interviewing Heidi Hazen, Certified Master Hypnotist, Reiki practitioner, Human Design Guide, and Energetic Agency Teacher. Heidi is passionate about her work and loves to help her clients do the most important work they’ll ever do – finding their way back to their original self so that they may authentically live.
In this episode, Heidi discusses how she started on the journey of 5-PATH (5 Phase Advanced Transformational Hypnosis). Heidi describes the types of programs she offers, her Alignment schools and why she started providing audio sessions. We also discuss her teaching of energetic alignment and how to be intentional with our actions, as well as the importance of taking ownership of our own energy.
Many of us would agree that things have been written in our story that were not written by us, but that doesn’t mean we can’t control who we are and how we react to situations. We will dive into the importance of recognizing that subconscious programming. Heidi details how she helps tap into her clients subconscious and untether them from stories that no longer serve them.
