Episode 19 - David Willette The Fine Line Podcast: Balancing Hedonism & Health

    • Health & Fitness

After inventing the process to bind Styrofoam pellets into sheet form at 25 years old, David Willette went on to become a curious and successful entrepreneur. He is now the CEO and founder of Allied Vaughn, a digital publishing service which streams film and TV content and manufactures DVD and BluRay discs, serving film collectors and the 157 million US consumers who have inadequate internet service for streaming.

His most important role is father to his three enterprising daughters – including our very own Liz Willette Danneels, who is his youngest. He has six grandchildren, who teach him continuously about the fast changing world. Staying active thru competitive sailing, golf, walking, and lots of home projects, and an unwavering positive attitude has allowed him to thrive thru pancreatic cancer, business downturns, and aging.

This is a great conversation about building a business, pivoting when circumstances dictate, retaining a team who feels valued, and why stress can be beneficial.
