Relaxing, thought provoking, down to Earth

The episode with Miriam Greenspan, discussing life after loss and how much healing is available to us when we learn to feel our own pain was incredibly inspiring. A great podcast for anyone who is interested in turning inward and understanding themselves more deeply

Great Podcast

I really love this podcast, as an enthusiastic beginner learning about Jung it’s fun to hear these concepts discussed in such a heart felt and accessible way.

Stopped in my tracks - literally

I am not a podcast or audiobook person at all - I just can’t filter and focus aurally without my mind wandering. Last night I decided to listen to the episode on the “objective personality” (or True Self) while taking my dog for a walk in 90-degree heat at 8:30. I mention the heat because even though it was totally gross out, I was so drawn into Whitney’s conversation with her colleague Adam Magers on finding the True Self - so much so, that I was stopping every few feet to open the Notes app on my phone to actually take notes on the conversation. And I’d continually rewind the conversation 15-30 seconds so that I could accurately write down exactly what they said or how they said it. I made it through the first 30 minutes of the episode on an hour-long walk. 🥵😅

Full Disclosure - Whitney is my therapist and she’s awesome; and this podcast is incredible. Just because you’re a great therapist doesn’t mean you’re going to be a great host/podcaster. I so needed that episode last night and I've written down my list of questions to ask when next I see her!
