Julie, I am loving this podcast! Your episodes fill me with hope and encourage me to look to Jesus in all of this! Thank you for inspiring me to look at my own part of enabling, trying to control, and starting to establish boundaries. Your story gives me hope for my husband and I. Just listening to you gives me such peace that I don’t have to try and make him better or control my husband. The Lord has him in His hands. I need to stay in my own lane and look to our God in all of this.
Middle of the night miracle

I was at the end of my rope, sobbing on the couch after having it out with my husband in the middle of the night and I found this podcast. I began listening immediately and thought, this is what I need. I felt immediately like I was having a conversation with someone who knew exactly how I was feeling. I love my husband, I love God and so does my husband so THIS was a miracle in the middle of this crazy mess. Thanks!
Great resource for women!

I just discovered this podcast and it’s amazing! Julie has been through it all and her wisdom and encouragement are so uplifting despite my sometimes dark days. I’ve learned do much more than I did in Alanon which is also a great resource. Julie breaks it down to short but essential pieces.
So helpful, and moving!

This has really helped me the last 3 weeks! I was on my last limb standing. I felt alone, like I was going through this alone- although I knew I wasn’t. I was obsessing and my reacting with anger etc. was overwhelming! I’m so glad for this podcast & your the unconditional love and empathy you’ve shown. Thank you, many tears have been shed. In a good way, the Lord nudged my heart and said “Katy, let me take over”- this was a little push in the right direction, for me.
Thank God for Julie <3

I am currently in the throws of alcoholism with my husband. Julie has given me a true gift, the ability to recognize that I am not alone in my struggle. She proposes questions and thought processes that I never had come up with on me own. I felt God’s tug on my heart to share some of the ideas Julie shared on the podcast with my husband, in particular the episode on The Myth of Choice. God is truly moving because two days later, 20 played episodes later, and lots of tears and prayers later, my husband recognized he needs treatment and last night was his first night in detox/recovery. Julie, I cannot thank you more for being so vulnerable and having the strength to share your story.
Such a gift

Please, listen to this. I’ve never connected and related to a podcast more than this one, and I know the Lord led me here. Listening to this has completely overhauled my perspective. My life is changing now (slowly), yours can too. You deserve to break free from the chains. You need help just as much as your spouse does so start here, one episode at a time. You deserve it, sister friend 😚

I’m shocked by the similarities between our life journey. It feels so good to listen to this podcast and step outside my situation to reflect and gain new perspective. It really is an active step in healing. Just as comforting as therapy. ♥️
