At 23-Years-Old She Started a Biz With Her Mom, Now It Sells One Product Every Minute: Rachael Wilde, tbh Skincare

tbh skincare founder Rachael Wilde is on the Female Founder World podcast with Jasmine Garnsworthy!
Coming from a medical background, Rachael had no desire to start her own business until she came across an insane opportunity to license a patented acne treatment and turn it into a brand. She jumped on the idea at 23-years-old back in 2019, and has since built one of the buzziest new beauty brands on the planet.
Rach's the queen of building brand hype and backing it up with brilliant formulas. After a $4000 launch day, tbh skincare did $800,000 in revenue in their first 18 months, and now sell a bottle of cleanser every minute.
This brand constantly goes viral, and I asked Rach all about it in this episode.
Listen in for the full story, how Rachael successfully merged tbh skincare with another business, how they've grown an incredible retail presence, and their influencer strategy.

Would you start a business with your sister? Shaz Rajashekar and Kiku Chaudhuri did—and today their haircare brand has hit some pretty impressive milestones. They’re sold at Sephora, have won some impressive awards, and have been featured in Vogue and Forbes.
They’ve been building this haircare business since 2018, when their parents returned from a trip to India with some incredible Ayurvedic beauty products. It sparked an idea: What if they could bring their heritage to an American beauty audience?
While building the business, these two have learned a lot about raising money, working with chain retail stockists, finding product-market fit, and up-leveling as entrepreneurs. Listen to their story on the pod!

The business has hit over eight figures in revenue, and raised $4.5M+ in equity crowdfunding from their community.
It wasn’t always this smash-success, though, CurlMix is actually Kim’s third swing at entrepreneurship.

POV: me binging this podcast!

Jasmine asks the exact questions we all want to know - and is so good at getting into specifics with her guests. She always has her listeners in mind - those of us who may just be starting out and need to get into the nitty gritty of how to launch a business. I cannot tell you how amazingly helpful this podcast has been. Think I’ve listened to 6 episodes this weekend. Going back to Ep 1 now and working my way thru. Thank you, Jasmine! 🤩

Amazing show for founders, by founders

This show gives lots of useful tips for founders, by founders. My favorite episode was with Kayla, the founder of Aguas Bonitas. As a latina myself it is inspiring hear how she created a product inspired by our culture, that is now mainstream and was missing on the shelves. This podcast asks questions that are relevant and informative for the modern day founder. My favorite topic is on social media marketing. It’s interesting to hear how different platforms and marketing styles can be used by brands to create success.
