Thank You for sharing your experiences, insight and vulnerability with us!
Just finished listening to your podcast on 13 Things to NOT Say to You Children and was saddened and inspired. Sad, because I have done every one of them and inspired to have a new vocabulary that will further build on a better connection with my children, especially my son.
My teenage son has spent the better part of 2019 in and out of FFAS for treatment and is currently in a sober living home.
At his treatment center we also participated in weekly therapy sessions with our son and attended a parent interactive program. It was were I found the courage to reflect on my own behaviors and traumas in order to start the journey to healing.
I love that I have found your book and podcasts to help further this terrifying and exciting new journey.
