    Trauma Healing Circle

What is The Trauma Healing Circle? The THC is a small (4 person) group healing program led and facilitated by myself, Guy Macpherson, PhD. Over the course of the last several years hosting The Trauma Therapist Podcast I've interviewed hundreds of incredibly skilled and passionate therapists who've dedicated their lives to helping individuals who've been impacted by trauma. From this experience I've been fortunate to learn a heck of a lot. I've learned there are so many trauma treatment modalities out there. I've also learned that one of the most vital elements in the journey of healing is human connection. Intentional, thoughtful, compassionate human connection. This is what The Trauma Circle is all about and I am providing and creating here. This is a program for anyone (whether you're a therapist, coach or not) who would like to heal with the support of others. *Please note: This is not therapy. This is a small group coaching program (4 per group), facilitated by myself, over Zoom, with the goal of beginning the healing process. With the support of others who are beginning their healing journey... we will listen to each other we will ask questions we will be supportive at every turn we will share ideas and resources and most of all--we will be human beings in the presence of one another and connect with each other as we together create an incredible healing circle. We will refrain from offering unsolicited advice and refrain from judgement. The success of this group revolves around each participant's willingness to abide by these guidelines. Who is this for? This is for anyone (you don't have to be a therapist, coach or mental health provider) who's experienced trauma and would like to heal with the support of others. Why a group? There is incredible healing power in joining a group of others with shared experiences. Yes, there will be others who haven't had your exact experience, but meeting with others in this safe space and hearing their stories and learning about what they're doing to help themselves heal, and also hearing of their struggles, too, will let you know that you're not alone, and is also immensely empowering. When will we meet? We will meet Mondays or Tuesdays in August. You choose which group you'd like to join, either the Monday or Tuesday group. (no switching back and forth) Meeting Times: Mondays in August August 1, 10am-11:30am PST August 8, 10am-11:30am PST August 15, 10am-11:30am PST August 22, 10am-11:30am PST Tuesdays in August August 2, 10am-11:30am PST August 9, 10am-11:30am PST August 16, 10am-11:30am PST August 23, 10am-11:30am PST Sundays in August August 7, 3pm - 4:30 pm PST August 14, 3pm - 4:30 pm PST August 21, 3pm - 4:30 pm PST August 28, 3pm - 4:30 pm PST What is the fee? The fee is $397 which includes the four sessions in August.
