Ben and Tony discussed the benefits of treating pain topically and the potential of medical foods to treat nutritional deficiencies and promote natural healing processes. They also touched upon the significance of homocysteine levels in relation to neuropathy and endothelial dysfunction and the benefits of combining various active ingredients in medical foods. They concluded the discussion by touching on the potential risks of taking too much of certain supplements and the importance of a comprehensive product for managing nutritional deficiencies associated with bone health. He shared a case of a woman with 40 years of anterrorlateral leg pain who was able to compensate for the issue by using a particular muscle movement. This led to Howard's invention, a kinetic wedge, which was implemented in Brooks running shoes and was based on the idea that the first Mtp. during dorsiflexion became very important
