Very informative and incredibly interesting guests.

You don’t have to be a healthcare professional to enjoy this podcast.

Important and interesting discussions on health science with a lot of potential

The podcast primarily centers on Aaron interviewing other health researchers and practitioners in the medical field [often composing of his colleagues at the Indiana University school of medicine] as well as bringing some outside voices like at one point, and just asks them questions about their field of work as well as their experiences and relevant takeaways. Some episodes are more engaging than others depending on interest of the topic and how personable the interview guest is and how well Aaron bounces off of them. While I would say they’re still rather informative, they can be pretty conventional and even somewhat generic in execution. He does answer questions from listeners who submitted questions his website at end of many episodes, and while his answers are always great, he sometimes chooses trivial questions. I have a lot of respect for Aaron Carroll, his Youtube channel Healthcare Triage is excellent, for his efforts to better inform the public about the inner working of healthcare policy and research. While I think there is a lot room for growth and refinement, I think this podcast is very underrated and very much deserves a listen from anyone who wants to be an informed citizen. I give it a 8/10.
