You’re familiar with the idea that your happiness is an inside job, and that no one else can give it to you. You realize that you can rise above your circumstances and write your own story about what everything in your life means, that everything can be viewed from multiple perspectives. You see that some people are blissfully happy with nothing and others are miserable with all the $ in the world; you know that if you don’t believe in yourself no one else will. You know that you’re the key to your own success or failure. and yet: Sometimes, or a lot of times, you find yourself still being human and not acting in integrity with what you know. You find yourself knowing intellectually one thing, but behaving in another way. Still snapping at the people you love. Still acting in a way that suggests you DO believe someone else can make you happy, still believing that someone else has it more figured out or together than you, still hiding when you’d previously determined to show up for your business or your creativity.
