In this weeks episode I discuss how to deal with eagerness and how to take a step back from feeling overwhelmed in terms of succeeding with your goals. I talk about the importance in understanding "perfect timing" and how to find peace with this concept. This episode covers different approaches and thought processes on how to combat the feeling of needing to control the timing in your life.

    Screw you society

    Screw you society

This episode came right from the heart; a 20 minute episode discussing my true feelings on societal beauty standards. I talk about beauty standards in ads, on websites, on social media, how they can create such an unhealthy mindset in both males and females. I discuss my own personal struggles with this topic over the years, how I used to feel like I had to look a certain way for approval from others, or to feel beautiful. You know what I have to say to that? Screw you society.

Why do you want it? Guided reflection

Why do you want it? Guided reflection

Welcome to my first guided reflection! This week I decided to switch things up and record a guided reflection/meditation. I want you to really focus on your inner feelings, thinking about what it is you truly want in this life and why. I ask questions that will get your thoughts flowing, which will help you get a better understanding of your own feelings. We discuss gratitude, resentment, drive/determination, and much more.

Screw society

Angela points out something very real on this week’s podcast. Society standards of beauty. And although we think that’s a common thing and everyone talks about it...it’s still an issue. As a woman I can relate to everything Angie talks about. On a man’s perspective...I had no clue they also faced fears and insecurities until I met my husband. He was the most funny and lively guy I’ve ever met and when I told him I would love to see him again he asked me if I was certain about it. If his height wasn’t a problem for me. What I didn’t know it’s that all his dates ended up the same way: “I’m sorry. You’re too short”.
Like Angela says in this podcast: you don’t have to change who you are in order for someone to like you. Great job on shedding light in important issues Angela. This is definitely worth listening to. Thanks for pouring interesting content out there.
