Journey Church

I don’t know if the Sunday morning format of having questions and responses by the congregation to the pastor(s) is something new for Journey Church or if it’s foundational to their Sunday morning services.. For me, growing up in the evangelical church of the 80’s and 90’s and then getting married and raising kids in the 2000’s to the present, (and then leaving the Sunday morning bull$/@& around 2010) wow this is a run-on sentence.. I am very reluctantly thinking about our family going back to Sunday morning church. I can’t believe what I just said. The question and response time at the end is pivotal (I think) to restoring actual community and honesty back to the church. It’s like the 3 branches of government that creates checks and balances to Sunday mornings. It’s literally holding the person speaking accountable for what they say, which is very refreshing.
