Episode 1: Mental Health and Giving L.U.V.

In our very first episode, we wanted to talk about a topic adversely effected the black community; Mental Health.

Historically in the black community, mental heath has been extremely taboo, especially for black males.

In this episode, we will be talking with DeShannon Williamson, LCSW. DeShannon has provided mental health and social services support for 20+ years in Oakland, CA as well as Solano County (mental health clinician in probation). DeShannon is also a real estate investor and a current board member of the 100 Black Men of the Bay Area.
