A podcast for new real estate agents that provides the best strategies, tools, tips, and advice for getting started. Getting into real estate can be challenging, I should know! I received my real estate license on January 31, 2020, about a month before Covid-19 blew up.
I created this podcast, Youtube channel, and website to help out and support new real estate agents. There are a LOT of variables to juggle from the types of lead generation strategies you're going to implement to staying organized to keeping a winning mindset. Check out newagentmindset.com!

Choosing Your Broker | 1 Question to Ask Yourself
Wow, can you say breaking promises? My apologies for the long absence (again) even though I promised I was going to be more consistent. What is trust...promises kept over time!
Anyhoo, in this episode, I'm going to talk about the 1 question that I think new real estate agents ought to ask themselves when choosing a broker. -
Optimize or DIE!
Hello fellow agents or soon-to-be agents! In this episode, I'm going to talk about how difficult it's been to pull off my 'Year 2 Reset' and how stressed and exhausted I've been lately. All of this failure and turmoil has helped me come to my new favorite tattoo slogan of 'Optimize or Die.'

Year 2 Reset Begins!
This episode marks the start of my second year with EXP Realty. While I've actually been a real estate for a year and a half, the first 6 months of my career were consumed by Covid and trying to figure out how to pivot and start making money! Those first 6 months were with Keller Williams before switching to EXP on June 23 of 2020.
The reason that I'm calling this a 'reset' is that I have decided to make some necessary changes in myself and my business. We all need to constantly assess what's working for us and what isn't. This episode is a preview of some of the changes that I'm making in my business and I hope that they provide insight and value for you as well!

Story Time - Coincidences and Control Freaks
Are you a control freak? If so, reconsider your profession as a real estate agent!
In this episode, we are introducing a new segment called 'Story Time' where I'll routinely share stories that new agents might never have heard of or even considered could happen. My goal is to help new real estate agents be better prepared for what they might encounter.
This particular story is about coincidences, conspiracy theory listing agents, and doing your best to handle situations that are completely out of your control. -
How NOT to Negotiate
In this episode, we are going to talk about a trend that I've noticed lately in some agents. Everybody knows that a real estate agent is supposed to be able to competently negotiate on their client's behalf. However, when was the last time you received training in this skill or learned anything about it? I'm going to talk about a very unprofessional way that many agents approach negotiation from the very start.

How to Win Friends & Influence People
In this episode, we are going to jump into the book by Dale Carnegie called 'How to Win Friends & Influence People.' This is a great book that was written back in 1936 and has been read over and over by the world's most successful people. Interestingly enough, the first chapter of this book is VERY similar to the first agreement in the book by Miguel Ruiz called 'The Four Agreements.'

Relatable
We are a lot a like! From “the secret” to not being a detail oriented person, good stuff. Thanks for putting your story out there for me. I’m taking my test next week and I cannot wait to start my journey. Keep updating and I’ll keep listening.
