13. Omega 3 - what it is, how to get it and why it's important with Mel Lawson from Bare Biology
In this 13th episode Ineke catches up with Mel Lawson. Mel is the founder of Bare Biology and mum of three and she discovered the incredible health benefits of high quality omega-3 fish oil when she researched a natural approach for her postnatal depression, anxiety and OCD. She identified a big gap in quality omega-3 supplements in the UK and decided to launch her own brand in 2013. The range of pure omega-3, marine collagen and Vitamin D has a cult following among Nutritional Therapists and health practitioners, with an estimated quarter of all sales coming from professional recommendations.
What to expect:
Mel shares her own experiences that led her to learn more about Omegas.
Is Omega 3 a low hanging fruit from a supplement perspective? And should it be part of our daily routine?
Which Omegas do we actually need?
What conditions can Omega 3 help with?
What dosage should you be looking for in Omega 3?
