    Dr. Shelby Harris is a clinical psychologist in private practice in White Plains, NY. She is board certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and treats a wide variety of sleep issues using evidence-based, non-medication treatments. She is the former Director of the Behavior Sleep Medicine Program at Montefiore Medical Center, and author of the book: “The Women’s Guide to Overcoming Insomnia: Get a Good Night’s Sleep Without Relying on Medication”

    Tom is a retired finance executive, yoga instructor, and activist in the LGBTQ+ community, working to promote equality and justice for all. Tom spent over 35 years in Corporate Finance, primarily with The Clorox Company, where he was a champion for gay rights. He served as past President of the Board of Directors for the non-profit, Out & Equal Workplace Advocates. A native of Rochester, Michigan, Tom now resides in Fairfield County CT with his husband, Bruce Genaro, author of the novel “When Stars Align”.

Inspiring every time!

I love the variety of interviews and the thoughtful and curious questions Laura asks each guest. I always learn something new from each episode and feel lighter and more optimistic after listening. The episodes are the perfect length to listen to in a car ride.
