Don’t Dim Your Light – ADHD Issues and Relationships

Don’t Dim Your Light – ADHD Issues and Relationships

I interviewed Natacha Marianczuk in the episode ADHD/ADD –
The Silent Disability from October 18th, 2021. Today we talk more
about the issues people with ADHD suffer and how it effects their relationships
with friends and family. Natacha has ADHD and is taking medication which helps
with the issue. But she says a good diet is essential. I think this is a
important message to help educate the public. To help fight back and reduce the
stigma of ADHD and allow people to flourish in school and life’s relationships.

You are Deathless – The Hope You Were Looking for

You are Deathless – The Hope You Were Looking for

This episode is one of my favorite interviews. I talk to an amazing woman named Nicole Kerr. She wrote the book about her near-death experience (NDE) called “You Are Deathless: A Near-Death Experience Taught Me How to Fully Live and Not Fear Death”. Even if you don’t belief in life after death, the spiritual message expressed in this episode is powerful.
The show runs a little long, but the time goes fast, and I couldn’t find anything I wanted to cut out. It’s a must listen to episode.
Nicole Kerr was a 19-year-old air force cadet in 1983 who took a ride home with a man she met at a party off base. He had a Corvette convertible, and he was drunk - 2x over the limit . Nicole had both feet up on the dash when they hit. She went flying through the windshield, badly cutting her legs and hitting the ground hard.
However, Nicole could not remember the accident until the memory suddenly came back to her all at once 19 years later. The event inspired her to write a book about her NDE.
Also, we talk about her troubles with her parents, especially with her ex-marine dad who she still does not get along with. She wants to spread the word that death is not the end and that we should each not fear death and to start or continue our spiritual journey through our life on earth.
Being a scientist myself, it’s hard for me to belief, but even so, the message of love and hope is inspirational.

The Final Layer - Pathway to Peace (EFT)

The Final Layer - Pathway to Peace (EFT)

Today we talk with Ann Hince who wrote the book Pathway to insight.  Ann talks about the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)or tapping and how it battles the beast inside at the Final layer. But this comes with the following warning.
It is critical to comprehend the complexities of the approach; therefore, it is prudent to seek the assistance of a skilled therapist. It's also worth noting that issues that have been unresolved for a long period take longer to settle than other concerns.
The interview took place maybe a year ago , the reason I waited so long is because I tried it myself and it caused overwhelming feelings and I had to back off. It Appears to work well for those with PTSD alone. Others with more chemically base
depression should wait until there stable and then seek the aid of a therapist or psychiatrist.
Also, It's likely that tapping may become a compulsive behaviour if you have obsessive-compulsive disorder. it's important to realize that the Emotional Freedom Technique is not a miracle technique. This, like any other therapeutic treatment, is likely to take some time before any noticeable results may be seen. The state of the condition will progressively improve.
That being said, I believe that this method shows promise for people who suffer from PTSD and perhaps will help anyone who is ready to face the beast at the final layer and be on the pathway to peace.

Michael Scholtes suffers with major depression and anxiety. So, what is surprising about him. Well, he is also a Pastor of a Lutheran church. So how can a man of faith have depression? Depression can strike anyone anywhere. It doesn’t have favorites.

Michael wrote a book about his experiences called,” Darkwater: A Pastor's Memoir of Depression and Faith”, which is available on Amazon and other outlets.
Michael has a unique perspective to offer people of faith, a deep and thoughtful experience of depression. He believes that he can offer hope to people who live with mental illness. So come join us for his story of courage.
