    This week I sit down with my badass husband, TSGT Austin Bicskei to talk all things mental performance within the special operations community.

    Austin is a Tsgt in the USAF and works within the SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) community. His job is to train pilots and air crew how to survive and evade being captured in survival situations. 

    He was recently named NCO (non-commissioned officer) of the year for his unit and is 1 of only 550 people within the SERE career field.

Motivating…also interesting and fun!

I’m writing this on New Year’s Eve and can’t help but think that this show should be part of everyone’s resolution! Each episode dives into the “whys” around our mental health and performance but also gives doable, realistic takeaways that you can implement in your own life and your own context. Yes that could look like high performance in a profession (like the episode with the Special Forces member in Dec ‘22) or high performance in sport (like the Olympian interviewees back in Aug), but the wonderful thing about the themes explored in this podcast is that, when practiced, they can carry over to the day-to-day, whether that’s parenting, navigating a difficult relationship, or even just sleeping better! I know I’ll be following this show in 2023. Thanks, Kerri!
