This is the best real estate show on the internet (and I’ve watched them all)

I changed careers in March of this year from tech to real estate and it’s incredibly frustrating when you find out that the industry by nature does not want you to succeed in any way and there is no instruction manual for success. I found this podcast and was in for a ride. Shelby is the underdog everyone wants to win, and she’s drawing in interviews with talented people that I’ve pulled so much important information from. Over the last several months, thanks to this show I’ve developed a ridiculous number of real, concrete, totally worthwhile strategies to not only help me break into this market but hopefully to change the face of this unfriendly, often ethically-corrupt industry for the better.

I’m also stunned by how approachable some of the guests are. Shelby is really good at finding the “sweet spot” for interviews and I’ve reached out to a few of them and have almost always gotten a response. She’s taken in some big names before but a lot of the guests are medium to smaller agents or brokers that are just really good at their specialization and not yet at the point of being too big to talk to (say, Serhant or Altman). This means you get practical advice from professionals that are probably a lot closer to where you are in your career’s progression, making the whole thing so much more relevant than just watching most Youtube videos (and I found out more recently that Shelby releases this on Youtube as well, bonus!).

Finally I have to touch on the supplementary content that the show has amassed. Absolutely invaluable. The archive is just packed with a ridiculous amount of media that goes along with the interviews. How the heck is all of this free? And there’s no cost for the podcast itself?? Shelby should be charging people per episode or at least asking for Patreon subscriptions (I would absolutely participate) but there is NO pandering and NO other annoyances. It’s just pure and friendly conversation that makes me want to come back for more every week. She just feels like that girl next door that genuinely wants to help you out and be there for you to cheer you on when you make it.

If you’re still with me for this long-winded review, give Real Estate Rockstars a chance. It’ll be a tool you keep on the TOP of your toolbox. If/when she uses all of the knowledge these interviews bring for her own real estate business restart, god help us all. I might as well prepare to hang my license under her brokerage when she goes national because all of her competitors are going to fall at her feet.

(No disrespect intended to any other person involved in the production of this show; I understand that there may be an owner and other hosts but all I know are the episodes that feature Shelby and I don’t know how involved the owner is so I’m pretending the whole thing is made by Shelby in this review. I hope she hosts it for a very long time!)
