Dr. Hishaw is also an author, she wanted to share her knowledge with other parents by writing Cavity-Free Kids: How to Care For Your Kids’ Teeth From Birth Through Their Teenage Years. Proceeds go towards Diversity in Dentistry Mentorships, a Non-Profit she founded to educate and empower underrepresented youth to explore dentistry as a profession through mentoring. The “Mommy Dentist” is truly unstoppable and constantly evolving as the main character in her beautiful life story.
