Most people don't know how to be happy. I'm really good at happy. So I teach people how to be happy and the habits of happy people. And then I keep 'em accountable every day. Did you do something to be happy yesterday? If you don't do something to be happy, you actually are off plan for the day, even if you ate perfectly.     If you’re unfamiliar with Brooke Goldner, MD, I am truly honored to be the one to introduce you, not only because she is such a power-house when it comes to helping people prevent and reverse autoimmune diseases, but also because she radiates not only health, but also joy and has this infectious energy that I have no doubt will inspire you as it does me. 

    Dr. Goldner is a board certified medical doctor and the author of 3
    best-selling books, Goodbye Lupus, Goodbye Autoimmune Disease,
    and Green Smoothie Recipes to Kick-Start Your Health & Healing. She has been featured documentaries like Disease Reversal Hope and Eating You Alive, and television shows like the Home & Family Show, and has been on the front cover of Vegan Health & Fitness
    Magazine 3 times, including the cover of Fit Over Forty. 


    She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with honors for genetic research in leukemia and neurobiology, was a graduate of the Temple University School of Medicine, was Chief Resident at UCLA-Harbor Residency, has published case studies in reversing Lupus Nephritis with her nutrition protocol, and is the sole autoimmune professor for the Plant-Based Nutrition Certification from Cornell University 


    She is a member of the Forbes Health Advisory Board, the founder of GoodbyeLupus.com and creator of the Hyper-nourishing Protocol for Autoimmune Reversal.

    I am the healthiest I can possibly be now at my age, almost 80. And I love my life. I love feeling so good. I feel like I can do anything I want to.    - Linda Middlesworth


    You’re not going to believe that today’s guest is turning 80 years old…. She is so freakin’ full of energy, is incredibly passionate, and isn’t afraid to share her truth with anyone and everyone who has her attention.


    Her name is Linda Middlesworth, and she is alive today only because her neighbor told her about Dr. John McDougall 35 years ago. He saved her life. She had cancer, severe heart disease, was more than 50 lbs. Overweight, and was pre-diabetic, even though she was then teaching over 20 classes a week of aerobics and weight training. 


    Thanks to Dr. McDougall’s book, Linda lost all her health issues within a few of months and then went on to become a VeganMentor health coach, a Food for Life Nutrition and Cooking Instructor, an animal rights activist, an event planner and an organizer of Sacramento Vegan Society with 5,190 members. She still teaches aerobics and weight training at the gym to this day and is now on the board of T. Colin Campbell’s Center for Nutritional Studies.

    Every time I speak with today’s guest, Geoff Palmer, which is relatively often given that he is a dear friend, I leave the conversation feeling so deeply connected, not only to him, but also to myself, my own purpose, and to the Universe if I’m totally honest.

Rise and thrive LOVE this podcast

If you want to giggle while you learn, this is the show you want to listen to. I like the interviews a lot. Super informative about eating vegan. Every person getting interviewed has their on insights, struggles, and knowledge. If you are not a vegan it is still a great show… maybe to learn how to incorporate a few vegan meals. My favorite part during the interviews is when they answer the question what is the one meal that you cannot live without…

I found Ella when listening to her being interviewed on a podcast in February. After listening to her being interviewed, I began listing to her Vegan Life Coach Podcast. In May, I emailed Ella sharing about the reasons why her podcast resonated with me.

Found this show and Ella’s work about a month ago while searching for vegan and fitness inspiration. Ella’s authenticity shines through on each episode and she has amazing guests. I have learned so much from this podcast and happily celebrating my 1 month vegan-anniversary!
