Key Things to Pay Attention To When Dating or Getting Into a Relationship

Key Things to Pay Attention To When Dating or Getting Into a Relationship

Pull up a seat, because there are some things we need to discuss. And this could completely alter your entire dating experience for the better.
We're talking about the key things to observe when you're getting to know someone.
These aren't tests we're running people through, that's not at all the vibe we're going for. It's simply picking up on and noticing certain details that may have escaped you before, details that can be incredibly telling about how the other person operates, the way they show up in the world and treat others, and how they take responsibility for their role in a relationship.
AND, it will also challenge you to pay close attention to the way you're showing up with others, especially early on when you may feel like you're trying to keep your "messy" side behind closed doors - and why that can be problematic.
Here's a sample of a few of the things we dive into:
Pay very close attention to how someone talks about their ex. There's a LOT to cover about this point alone, and we're getting into the nuance related to this. How to pick up on someone else's relationship to honesty & trust. Why having them approve of literally everything you do *might* not be ideal. Openness vs being closed, rigid and inflexible and some of the more subtle ways those qualities can show up. That's just the tip of the iceberg, this episode is jam packed! Take a listen and let me know what you think ;)

The right environment and people will allow you to expand. Not only that, BE that space for others.

Getting to know yourself to such a degree you can sense immediately when old patterns are coming in play in your relationships The power of believing in someone Realizing when you've reached a point of over-explaining yourself to someone committed to misunderstanding you and what to do when that happens And a little encouragement to keep searching for your people if you haven't found them quite yet. Because they're looking for you too.

Lose the Labels That Keep You Small & Expand Into Real Freedom

Lose the Labels That Keep You Small & Expand Into Real Freedom

There are more "labels" than ever floating around out there, especially in the area of anything that could be classified under self-help and personal development. They can be helpful in some instances. Occasionally these types of labels will help us to feel less isolated and alone, perhaps give us the understanding that we're not the only weird one out there (let's be honest, we're all weird and life is so much more interesting that way ;) )
However, I would argue that identifying too strongly with any particular label has the potential to do more harm than good. Conversely, using these systems of "categorization" to classify others can be unhelpful as well and prevent us from viewing the individual as a whole, complex and unique being, just as you are.
These labels can keep us small, rigid, and wrapped up in these parts of ourselves without allowing the fullness of our personalities to shine through.
Not every little quirk or thing that we're working on about ourselves needs to have a name. Nor should you believe the lie that there's a laundry list of things about you that need "fixing," either.
And labels can also keep us so deeply focused on “self” that we forget how much connection with others heals us, because we heal IN relationship.
We're going into all of this plus specific examples on this episode, and how to nourish yourself instead - without all the extra labels that can weigh us down.

Active Listening & Awkward Silences: Where Relational Magic Blooms

Active Listening & Awkward Silences: Where Relational Magic Blooms

One key ingredient to any relationship is always maintaining that genuine sense of curiosity about your partner.
And part of curiosity isn't only about the asking of questions - it's about the listening and being open to receive what the other person is willing to share with you.
All of these factors combine to allow space for a stronger bond to be developed, and it's always such a gift when someone feels safe enough with us to share parts of themselves they usually keep hidden away.
Diving into all of this and more today!

Soften. Because You'll Never Really Regret It.

Soften. Because You'll Never Really Regret It.

A quickie episode for you today all about softening - because you’ll never really look back and think about how you wish you had slammed the door harder, shouted more loudly, or had more of a meltdown.
Soften because you’ll usually be far more proud of a kind word than a cruel one.
And I'm sharing a very personal example of one way I choose to soften, even with people who have hurt me, and to show up with the intention of leaving people even one degree better than you found them. Not to make people better for your own sake, but with the simple intention of gifting others with a little sliver of recognition of a quality about them you genuinely appreciate, and the positive ripple effects that can create that we couldn't even possibly foresee.
    And....
Jump on the waitlist for Becoming YOU, my 4-week coaching group for women. Doors for the waitlist open April 14th, and our first call is Tuesday, May 3rd.
In Becoming You, you'll learn to give yourself the level of compassion you usually reserve for everyone else, embrace your wild and free spirit, create home from within, and reclaim your power to step into a f*ck yes relationship with yourself...and watch all your relationships flourish.
Join the waitlist here for VIP pricing and extra bonuses that won't be available publicly!
