Ep. 66: The Art of Being Really Bad at Something

Ep. 66: The Art of Being Really Bad at Something

Who out there enjoys making mistakes?

    That's what we thought.

So often we let fear and frustration hold us back from trying something new. We may avoid it because we know we can't win or won't be one of the best. Sometimes we avoid it because we are afraid of how we will look to others.

But it turns out that everyone starts somewhere.

On today's episode of "With That Being Said", Bradley, Emily, and Sarah sat down to talk about why a lot of us aren't good at things. And it turns out it has a lot to do with not being willing to be bad at them first. They've got stories about things they've avoided, how they've grown, advice for moving past this mindset and more.

Fitness and Health That Fits You

I really enjoy the light hearted tone of the podcast. I love hearing the real life experiences from the hosts and guests. The hosts are very open minded and realists. They get that no one is going to be perfect on their diet and exercise. When the intermittent episode episode came up I was worried they would talk bad about it like so many other shows because Im a faster but I was pleasantly surprised. They really don't put down or trash any exercise or diet regiment. They get that there is no one size fits all. I’ve learned something new or found a new way to view fitness from each episode. Highly recommend.
