Somewhere Over The Rainbow Podcast
Ever wonder what Jack and Karen from “Will and Grace” would look like if they were a brown gay boy and a black straight girl who are besties and have a podcast? So did we! Listen to our musings on pop culture, life, love and whatever comes up on the other side of the Rainbow.
Great chemistry, pacing and info!

I avoid most social media platforms for my own mental health, so I miss out on a lot of pop culture happenings. This podcast is the perfect way to be in-the-know at your next cocktail party (and maybe not seem quite as old as you are😄). Dana and Vincent have an easy, entertaining and accessible patter that’s a perfect vehicle for your dose of pop culture.

I'm for certain I found this show via PodcastsInColor.com (shoutout to Berry 😘). I was burnt out with my podcast list as it was, and I remember marathoning the whole series in about 2 days, so I instantly subscribed. I like that the show's bi-weekly (or tries to be), the co-hosts are friends who seem to be settled in their day jobs. Also, I like that the setup sounds (I'm assuming) that they are recording into a MacBook, I know Dana's mentioned about editing the show with one. The subjects is general pop culture re-caps offered in bites instead of tangents. The show's not perfect by any means, and I'm seeing that Dana and Vincent are working to be more social with promoting online. So, I hope to see more growth, and will keep listening.
5 air kisses for the dish between these pop culture-loving besties!

The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter meets 2 Dope Queens in this fun podcast. Vincent’s an endearing Sonny Bono soundalike who loves the ’80s and pop culture. His wheelhouse has pedestals for Madonna, Stevie Nicks, Dolly Parton and Ricky Martin. Dana is his Wonder Woman-loving bestie who has Hollywood gossip at the ready, like, which recently departed media tycoon paid $75K to be buried next to Marilyn Monroe. And don’t even get her fabulously opinionated self started on which celeb needs to do what: “Megyn Kelly needs to go to the Sally Jessy Raphael School of Audience Interaction!” Ha! If pop culture is your Thing, come love on this to get your show biz fix.
