    5 Key Elements of a High-Converting Website

    5 Key Elements of a High-Converting Website

In this digital age, everyone is online and everyone has a website. And if you’re a practitioner (and a business owner!) then your website should be as warm and inviting as your own home. There’s a big difference between a basic website and a great website, and I’m going to share five key elements that will make sure that your website is working for you to help grow your practice.
When I work with practitioners, I love to do a deep dive on their website to review the content, the “About” page, and the services they provide. I’m looking to see if the layout is clean and tidy. Do they have a call to action?  Does the website tell me what they’ve done and how they can help me, or is it just about them? Ultimately, the goal should be to help convert visitors and prospects into patients, and I’m here to help you do that.
So today, I’m going to walk you through the five key elements of a website that’s built to convert. I’ll share some tips on how to create a website that resonates and attracts the patients that you want to see, and with a few simple changes you’ll be turning those page clicks into new patients in no time my friends!
Gold Nuggets (2:16) Why simply having a website isn’t good enough anymore. (7:58) How to write a headline that grabs a viewer’s attention–and why you should keep it simple. (12:08) The importance of adding your phone number above the fold and on the very top of your homepage, even if you have a Call Now button right next to it. (13:38) Why it’s so important to have the same call to action across your entire site. (15:44) The types of photos to include on your website–and why you shouldn’t fill the page with photos of yourself (17:26) Why your About page isn’t about you, but about resonating with your patients. (22:44) How ClinicalCatalyst.com can help you evaluate and optimize your website for free right now. Get Today's Show Notes

Are You a Clinician or a CEO?

Are You a Clinician or a CEO?

Whether we like it or not, most of us are business owners–and there’s a huge difference between working in your business as a clinician versus working as a CEO. I know you’ve heard me talk about this before, but I also know there’s a lot of people out there that struggle with this juggling act and I have some information that I just need to share because I’ve been there before and I want to help!
As business owners, we pay taxes, hire people, make marketing and advertising decisions, and run offices. As clinicians, we see our patients, evaluate what’s wrong, and make recommendations to ensure the best possible health outcomes. These are two separate hats, and if you own a business, the bucks stops with you because you’re the CEO.
Today, I want you to understand the difference between being a clinician and being a CEO, help you transform your practice, and become the business leader you’ve always aspired to be–and give you the power and confidence to make more effective decisions than ever before.
Gold Nuggets (2:12) The difference between the clinician and the CEO hats–and why you don’t want to be wearing the clinician hat when you make major business decisions. (6:30) Why you shouldn’t be thinking like a clinician when you hire new talent and why your guidance and direction is vital for your business to thrive. (17:14) The simple action steps to move your business forward right now. (19:20) How running your business like a boss will increase productivity, profit, and satisfaction. Get Today's Show Notes

Do You Have a Reactivation Strategy?

Do You Have a Reactivation Strategy?

What do you do when a patient goes silent or “ghosts” you? It happens to the best of us. Patients get busy, life happens and follow-up appointments get missed. And we’re so busy taking care of the patients in front of us that the ones that don’t come back just silently drift away into never-never land.
This represents lost revenue and delayed results for your patients – neither of which is a good thing! So how do we prevent this from happening? What can be done to bring these wayward patients back in the door?
Well my friend, you’re in luck. In this week’s Clinical Entrepreneur episode, I’m giving you the inside scoop on how to stay connected with your patients, what you should do if they’ve gone silent on you, and I’ll help you create a reactivation strategy to make sure that they think about you when they’re ready to come back!
    Gold Nuggets
(2:01) Some of the most common reasons that patient’s miss their appointments. (5:22) The incredible value in sending a weekly email to stay in front of your patients. Why Having Core Values for Your Business is Essential

Why Having Core Values for Your Business is Essential

Many great clinicians struggle with the business aspects of their practice which is understandable. If you’d wanted to be a business guru, you would have opted for an MBA! But there are few things that are absolutely foundational for getting your practice/business off to a great start – and one of them is knowing your core values.
These are more than just a trite list you throw together just for the sake of it. When you have core values that reflect who YOU are as a person, they can actually become your guardrails and guiding principles for your practice.
Once you have those core values defined, you’ll be able to hire the right people that align with who you are and what your business is all about. And not surprisingly, your business will begin to flourish when each member of your team is focused on the same goals.
In this episode, I’ll share a few of my core values to help you get started. As you identify the core values that are important to you, you’ll see how they can make your practice more effective and even more profitable!
    Gold Nuggets
(1:53) Why stellar clinicians often struggle with the business side of their practice. (4:30) Why customer service is one of the most important core values in my business. (6:35) Tips for framing core values of your own to improve the quality of your work, your team’s performance, and your overall customer satisfaction. (13:29) Tools that can help you create visuals for your staff to keep your core values top of mind. Get Today's Show Notes

A Must Listen to Show!

Dr. Nelson is so engaging and brings on some incredible guests who offer a plethora of knowledge! I highly recommend giving her show a listen!

Integrative Dog Doc ,

Super helpful & motivating

I love these podcasts! I have a short attention span and low tolerance for drivel and sales pitches. Ronda gets to the point and is fun to listen to. I find her inspirational and motivating as she reveals her own past mistakes and “weaknesses” and shares how she’s overcome these obstacles, rather than taking an “I’m an expert at this so listen to me” tone. Thank you, Ronda. You brighten up my day!
