Using Poop to Create a Viral Marketing Campaign?

Using Poop to Create a Viral Marketing Campaign?

Need some new and innovative ways to engage and grow your audience via an interactive cross-platform digital adventure?
On today’s episode, host Mark de Grasse sits down to chat with Lauren Petrullo, CEO of https://mongoosemedia.us/ (Mongoose Marketing), about a recent campaign for “poop containment” her company ran successfully last month. The 10-day campaign for client Beau and Belle Littles—that sells reusable swim diapers for babies and toddlers—crossed every single social media platform with amazing results. They kicked off their Easter Poop Hunt on a Facebook Live and released an egg a day, dropping a hidden letter that participants had to unscramble to make a word and win prizes. They spent just $350 and generated 1300+ leads, 20k views on their Facebook video, and 250k impressions on a single GIF. Absolutely brilliant.
Listen in to find out how you can replicate this campaign (minus the poop) for your own business.
    IN THIS EPISODE YOU’LL LEARN:
How they creatively introduced their campaign on April Fool’s Day
What the pre-planning stage looked like
Which platforms performed best throughout the campaign
What they’ll do differently the next time they run a similar campaign

The Secret to Publishing a Video a Day

The Secret to Publishing a Video a Day

Most people agree that video is an incredible marketing tool, yet so many businesses and agencies can’t seem to get over the hurdle and just do it. Why is that?
On today’s episode, host Mark de Grasse sits down with Uzair Kharawala, founder of https://www.sfdigital.co.uk/ (SF Digital Studios), to talk about his 100 Video Challenge. The challenge is to upload a video a day to multiple channels for 100 days in a row. Uzair told himself that, even if he didn’t get a single like, view, or comment, he would keep making videos. And he hasn’t stopped. He used to do everything himself, but now he records the videos, and his team takes it from there. They upload 5 videos and do 2 live streams every week. “You can’t just post a week like in the old days and expect that to cut it,” Uzair says. “You’ve got to be in front of your audience at every possible touchpoint.” Video is the easiest, fastest, cheapest, and most effective way to market.
Listen in for expert tips on making videos that will resonate with your audience and grow your brand.
    IN THIS EPISODE YOU’LL LEARN:
What length of video is most popular right now (and why that’s good news)
3 ways you can optimize your video (and how that varies across platforms)
Tips for getting a platform to promote your video/channel
How Uzair keeps his thousands of videos organized and accessible

    Meta Insiders on Instagram Reels

If you’re a business owner or digital marketer who’s been putting off creating IG reels, it’s time to jump on that train.
On today’s episode, host Mark de Grasse sits down with Meta’s https://www.instagram.com/instagramforbusiness/ (Lauren Posada and Genie Alfonzo) who work on the business marketing team for Instagram, helping businesses see the value of their products and solutions. The team is specifically pushing IG reels right now—and for good reason. Reels now make up 20% of the time spent on the entire IG platform, and that number is only going to climb. Over the past couple years, we’ve seen an entertainment shift around the explosive growth of short form video in social media and the exciting opportunities it presents for marketers. Lauren and Genie are watching marketers and business owners flex their creative muscles in this space, trying new things, working the algorithm, and growing their audiences organically.

    IN THIS EPISODE YOU’LL LEARN:
Why Instagram encourages de-coupling reels with your IG identity
What factors increase your chances of discoverability on IG

How Joe Rogan Built His Brand on Cultural and Technological Trends

How Joe Rogan Built His Brand on Cultural and Technological Trends

The key to becoming successful and famous is catching a cultural wave just as it’s getting started, riding it hard, then jumping to the next one. Easy, right?
On today’s episode, host Mandy McEwen sits down with her friend https://microfamous.substack.com/?utm_source=%2Fsearch%2Fmicro%2520famousandutm_medium=reader2 (Matt Johnson)—agency owner, podcaster, and author—to chat about surfing the waves of culture and technology. First up, they discuss Joe Rogan’s long stream of good luck (?) catching wave after cultural wave from stand-up comedy to sit-coms to reality TV to UFC to podcasting. If you’re someone who’s hoping to make a living—or become famous—on social media, you need to be aware of which waves are on their way out, and which ones you should be catching and riding next. It’s not as simple as jumping on that next wave though. Matt says you’ve got to take your talents, your personality, and your interests into careful consideration too.
Listen in to hear more about the next big thing in social media and how you can get in on it.
    IN THIS EPISODE YOU’LL LEARN:
Which 2 social media platforms Matt thinks are up and coming
Why (and how) to brand yourself as THE expert at one specific thing
How to find the alignment of what you’re good at and the next big wave
Which social media platforms are worth investing in long-term
