    Resilience, Relationships, and Retention [EP:136]

Enhancing Customer Experience in Salons and Beyond

In this episode, Jen and Todd discuss the importance of creating an amazing and consistent customer experience, drawing parallels between the restaurant industry and salons.

They share personal anecdotes to illustrate how unexpected challenges, like gridlock during a family trip, can offer insights into business and life, emphasizing the value of adaptability and positive reactions in uncertain situations.

The conversation then shifts to the significance of focusing on training, culture, and systems rather than just aesthetics or amenities in business settings, using salons as an example.

They argue that genuine client care and a welcoming atmosphere can vastly improve customer retention rates, demonstrating this through stories from their salon experiences.

They also discuss the power of teamwork and creating a supportive environment where everyone feels included and part of something bigger than themselves.

They advise business owners to focus on core values and consistently deliver quality service to build a loyal clientele and attract skilled collaborators.

Great Hair Industry Podcast !!

I’ve been looking for a new Hair industry Podcast, I’m a Goldwell Master Colorist at a Extremely Busy High End “Commission” Salon ..I’ve always Known that I was working at a place that was bending the laws but I figured the industry was so riddled with labor violations it was par for the game .. To hear about you Salon and realize that there’s Actually Owners out there who run a Fair and legal Commission Salon .. Makes me wonder Home much I’ve been holding myself back .. I wish there was more regulation in the industry.. If I told you what was going on you would be appalled.. however everyone acts like it normal
