EP 156: SOLO JAM SESSION: CAN’T MEDITATE? BREATHWORK IS FOR YOU!

EP 156: SOLO JAM SESSION: CAN’T MEDITATE? BREATHWORK IS FOR YOU!

Meditation isn’t for everyone. It can be really challenging to get into a meditative state which is why I am an advocate for breathwork. The power of your breath is easy to access and brings just as many benefits as meditation. When you have deep states of resource and are using your breath to access something deeper within you, you can hold it all without feeling as heavy. You have to increase your capacity, by increasing your energy. This isn’t about biohacking or having a cup of coffee because true energy comes from within our bodies. In this episode, I am talking about why you should consider the breathwork modality and a simple 90-second breathwork experience you can use whenever you need to tap into your wellbeing.

Inside this episode I jam on:

A story about how I struggled with meditation and found breathwork Why it’s so hard to feel yourself when you’re congested with the emotionality of other people Why you need to use breathwork to unhook the mind The beautiful shift of getting out of your mind and into your body A simple 90-second breathwork experience How breathwork gives you access without waiting for an opening

EP 154: SOLO JAM SESSION: BREATHWORK IS THE ACCESS POINT TO INCREASED PLEASURE

EP 154: SOLO JAM SESSION: BREATHWORK IS THE ACCESS POINT TO INCREASED PLEASURE

You've been given everything you could possibly wish for from your creator. You have to wake up every day and choose to reclaim your joy. It doesn't have to be extravagant. We're all born with this ability to extract joy from life and one of the access points to pleasure is the breath. That's why I am so passionate about breathwork... While so many people have been conditioned to live in the fight or flight, it's not good for the body or mind. You deserve to be in the rest and digest state where your body can stabilize the state of ease. In this episode, I’ll explain how and why breathwork is so powerful.

Inside this episode I jam on:
The two ways you can use breathwork: integrative and meditative How breathwork activates the limbic system and can open up emotions and memories The physical benefits of breathwork: decreased cortisol, decreased size of amygdala, activation of the vagus nerve How breathwork can improve vagal tone which in turn, improves your response to stress Why you should use breathwork to release suppressed emotions  How you can use breathwork to decrease human suffering and increase human consciousness Why you are the drug that your body is looking for
