The Biggest Mistake I Ever Made with My Money

The Biggest Mistake I Ever Made with My Money

In this episode of The Jordan Syatt Mini-Podcast, I talk about how marketing in the fitness industry (and everywhere) is trying to sell you a dream. I share the story of how I was duped out of, literally, thousands of dollars, how the marketing industry spends millions upon millions of dollars using proven scientific techniques to take advantage of your emotions and extract as much revenue as possible from you, and how one of the biggest red flags is when an advertisement is specifically trying to sell you extreme ease or pain.  I also talk about the concept of willful suffering, the importance of identifying what your own tendencies are, and how to leverage that knowledge to improve your life and achieve your goals.  SPOILER: I never said it was going to be easy, but it will be worth it  ;)

So much knowledge and compassion

Listening to Jordan’s podcasts is always interesting and I learn so much but I’m amazed at how compassionate he is and how he is such and encourager to each person who needs it. I love these podcasts! Keep up the good work Jordan!!

No pain no gain

Loved this episode. I’m in my early 40’s and wonder if I will ever be able to get back down to a healthy weight after having my kids. I’m one that watches the YouTube videos of what people eat, what workouts they tried. Other points you all discussed have hit home. Thank you!

Workout Addict Here ✋🏽

I am not a member of the Inner Circle but love following this podcast and hearing peoples journeys. I loved what Susan said about when she was younger, she would workout 7 days a week and double strength and cardio days some weeks. That’s me!! So encouraging to hear that you don’t need to do that but rest days do give me anxiety. I also feel like crap on rest days. I don’t have those endorphins first thing in the morning. Any how, I guess I’ll take a rest day tomorrow...? 😳

Love the podcast by the way. Everyone should listen.
